Brentwood Pointe II Newsletter (August 2020)

Dear Brentwood Pointe II Residents,

We want to continue to make Brentwood Pointe II an even better place in which to live, but we can’t do that without your help! We know you don’t like having to comply with storm door requirements, satellite dish issues, putting up toys, etc., but your assistance is vital in keeping Brentwood Pointe II looking its best. In addition to the aforementioned items which we’re dealing with on an individual basis, please help us make your property clean and safe for everyone.

Safety Issue:

We hope you are staying well. While we realize that there are many children (and parents) that are stuck at home due to the pandemic, we want to remind families that children should use ample caution when playing within the community. We encourage children to get outside to play, but those who choose to walk or ride bikes/scooters in the streets need to be sure to stay on the correct side of the street and be aware of other vehicles and pedestrians. Please also remind children to make sure their toys and items are stored inside of the home or on back patios when not being used. It has been noticed that some children have been storing bikes, scooters, etc. in front of homes or in the common area (and this is not permitted).

Pet Waste Reminder:

Please also remember to always pick up pet waste and dispose of it properly in one of the five pet waste disposal stations throughout the community (or in a personal trash can). Nobody likes seeing and/or stepping in pet waste. If someone is seen not disposing of pet waste properly, fines will be issued per occurrence (and this is the last thing we want to do).

Pool:

The pool has remained closed this pool season due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the liability associated with the possible transmission of the virus at the pool. The pool will remain closed until further notice.  Please note that the pool is being maintained and kept open-ready in the event that the HOA is able to open the pool this year. We are hopeful that the Governor will sign the legislation which was recently passed by the Tennessee State Legislature regarding COVID-19 liability protection. If the legislation is signed, it is possible that the HOA will move forward with opening the pool with certain precautions in place under the appropriate guidelines.

As a reminder….The HOA Fees:

Please note that the $165 monthly HOA fee covers several items and services which are provided by the HOA.
